Responsibilities

· Attending Design Meetings with the relevant Project Team Members within the company's Planning & Development Department to discuss design ideas.

· Gathering all information necessary for the preparation of civil and architectural designs.

· Developing civil and architectural design drafts from scratch.

· Presenting rough design drafts to the relevant Project Authority within the company's Planning & Development Department for approval.

· Generating Solid and Surface CAD models using AutoCAD software.

· Blending technique and aesthetics to create final designs.

· Presenting various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations.

· Finalizing AutoCAD models (drawings)

· Compiling data and specification sheets

· Presenting concept and detailed civil and architectural models (drawings) to the relevant Project Authority within the company's Planning & Development Department.

· Completing job reports.

· Responsible for storing and filing all these designs in the database.

· Any other responsibility that may be assigned by your line manager.

· Ensure that the highest ethical standards are maintained in all activities.

· Conduct himself in a dignified and respectful manner that reflects well on the Employer and also sets an example for the other employees.

Education & Experience

· Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture or related discipline with minimum of 5 years work experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in a Consultancy or Construction Company,

Or

National Diploma (ND) in Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture or related discipline with minimum of 8 years work experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in a Consultancy or Construction Company.

· A professional certification in Computer-Aided Design will be an added benefit.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

· Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software

· Good knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering, and architecture.

· Sound understanding of environmental and safety regulations.

· Computer literate to include word processing, data management and email correspondence.

· Outstanding oral and written communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.

· Exceptional active listening skills.

· Good time management skills.

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Ability to meet deadlines and multitasking.

· Physical fitness and mental agility to successful function for an extended period if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to ₦250,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
